great customer who deserves the best! If
there is a printing defect or shipping problem, we will fix
it. Please
look at your cards the minute they arrive and contact us immediately,
no later than 5 days after you receive
your order, for
the best resolution of any problem. Please hang onto your products
and packaging as the printer or shipper may want to see
them.
We wish we could be responsible for spelling errors, or that
phone number with the wrong digit. But
once you approve your design it goes straight to the printer
so we just can't
be. You are responsible
for anything you enter online, so proof carefully! We have
given you some tips on the "final approval" page.
And if you are dissatisfied for any reason,
please let us know. We want to work with you to make
sure you are happy.

Our design
staff have given you a big headstart by choosing typefaces
and text colors that complement each graphic design. Now you
need to decide what to say and how to fit it onto the card.
Some basic tips:
Keep it short.
It
is hard to condense yourself down to the size of a business card,
but doing so will actually help you focus on the most important
aspects of your business and your healing approach. The shorter
and more to the point you can make it, the more people are likely
to grasp and remember what you do in their brief look at your
card. Try to make every word count. Use terms that are likely
to to be understood, and highlight what makes you different from
others offering similar services in your area.
Keep it simple!
Avoid the "ransom note" approach to design. Use different type
sizes, italics or bold where they make sense (for example to
differentiate your practice description from your contact information)
but use them sparingly. Too many variations distract from your
message. Take a look at some of the examples we've created to
give you some ideas.
Include your basic contact information.
Essential: your name and/or business
name, contact phone number(s), email/web address.
If you work out of your home, or by appointment only, you
may not need or want to add your street address.
Tell people in a nutshell how you can help them!
It should be clear from your card what you do, for example massage
therapy, another modality or
skin care. But more important than a complete list of your modalities
is the answer to the question of “Why
should I come see YOU?” For example:
Relieving Stress since 1989 — Let me relieve yours
Revitalizing massage for the whole family (or pregnancy massage,
massage for sports enthusiasts)
Your back and neck pain specialists
Specializing in keeping seniors active since 1995
Skin care with a caring touch
Relaxation in the comfort of your home
Reduce your stress — Improve your life!
Consider getting more than one business card
Keep your front design the same, but change the back. One can
be your "all-purpose" card with an inspirational quote
on the back, a list of benefits, or simply blank for writing
a special message to whoever you hand it to. Get a second card
with a special offer on the back (Buy 4 sessions and get the
5th free; $5 off your next session) to hand out to prospective
clients, to have your clients hand out to their friends, or to
reward your favorite clients.
